Sometimes you just need to start over with a clean slate!
For a really clean slate, here is a REXX script to reroute and clear the
job log:

Incidentally, I've been remembered about that command: rrtjob. This will
start a new "job step", closing out the previous one. It will end all OPM
and ILE activation groups, restoring the job to the way it was when you
first signed on.
