Hi Richard

I remember using the MI CIPHER function, I think, when doing encryption for passwords while at RJS - but that probably won't help now, but was pretty easily called from RPG, as I recall.

I did find a Redbook that has a number of RPG examples - https://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg247399.pdf

That book also gives some SQL examples.
