Hi Dan,
if you are using RDi - you can switch on the annotation of unused
variables in the source code.
(Screenshot - hoping it will be visible)
The definitions of unused variables (that are defined in the program) are
marked with an "i" on the left side and a blue mark in the scroll bar.
So you can find those quite fast. I usually remove them, before checking
the source in.
Of course - fields that are imported from an external file are not
annotated as they are not in the source code.
