Just as a general FYI ...

When RPG changed to accept named constants for file names etc. it became a requirement to place literal names in quotes. That also means of course that they must also be in upper case.

I'm getting a compiler error on this DCL-F, External File Definition for
stysumw1 not found. I've confirmed the file is in DTALIB. I've switched the order of extfile and extdesc with the same results. I've used this many times but it looks like I've never used QTEMP in extfile before.

dcl-f stysumw1 usropn
extdesc('dtalib/stysumw1')
extfile('qtemp/stysumw1')
rename(stysumw1:stysumw1r) infds(StySuminfd);
