Thank you for your response.

That is why I am not looking for the JobD library list or the system library
list. I am looking for the "Initial" library list of the submitted job
while it is still on the JobQ. I am looking for the library list that the
job will first use when it finally becomes active, but before it becomes
active.

The user that submitted the job may have signed off the system or may have
changed their library list after they submitted the job, so looking at the
user's library list would be meaningless as well.

Looking for the initial library list on a job waiting in the JOBQ may not be
useful. A job on the JOBQ does not have to use the library list on the JOBD.
The JOBD may use the system library list or as in many instances, when a
user sign on, his initial program may build the library list. Also when
submitting a job to batch, by IBM default (unless changed), the library list
of the job submitting the job is used.

Be careful of all the options.

I have found several ways of getting the library list of active jobs (API:
QUSRJOBI to name one).

I have found how to get the Job Description of a Job waiting in the JobQ.

But, I need to know how to get the "Initial Library" list of a job that is
waiting in the JoqQ (not actively running) as it may be different than the
library list of its associated job description.

Can anyone point me in the good direction to follow the rabbit down this
hole?

Thanks

Rich
