Yes - I really do think, that the idea of a "comparator function" makes sense for that case.


There's an Idea about providing a comparator function for %LOOKUP and SORTA. https://ibm-power-systems.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/IBMI-I-1461

The comparator function could also be used for some new %COMPDS built-in function.
