The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

What are you referring to? ...
I mean, do you remember to the phone number of someone, if the smartphone isn't available.
Landline numbers: Yes, sometimes. For all others my phone book is synchronized between my desktop computer and the phone. Always have backups.
Same for "AI". Don't give up thinking. If AI is down and you unlearned how to think, you're doomed. No backup.
In general, that's will be the industrial change as you can see everywhere.
The industry only wants to make more money. We do not need to follow along like sheep.
Because your brain works ...
Not necessary at all. See the change from handcraft to automated production. And this happens at the moment. Believe me, the solutions are getting better.
I don't believe as you do. I recognize what happened in the past, and mankind as a whole doesn't change substantially. Giving up thinking for yourself is not a good idea. No matter from which viewpoint.
I'm not a fan of any of this, but we won't be able to stop it.
We don't need to stop it. The only thing I want to point out is that we should not blindly trust what's being generated by those generative MLs. Always check, always think by yourself. And that will be utterly hard because the generated stuff looks so stunningly correct at first glance, and lures us into the comfiness of blind belief.
Unless you ask for an essay about how to prevent kidney failures of bananas. It will give you a beautiful writeup about utter nonsense instead of asserting that bananas don't have kidneys and thus aren't prone to kidney failure.
Always check, always think by yourself.
