We are using the URLENCODE and URLDECODE functions from SYSTOOLS. Suddenly
I am not sure what updates applied to the iSeries and I am started getting
the below error while using the functions
*"The directory /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk71/32bit in the JAVA_HOME
environment variable is no longer supported on this operating system."*
When I see the Java version in GO LICPGM, I got the below
5770JV1 *COMPATIBLE Java SE 8 32 bit
5770JV1 *COMPATIBLE Java SE 8 64 bit
I updated the JAVA_HOME environment variable from
"/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk71/32bit" to
"/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk80/32bit"
I executed the URLENCODE function again and I got the below error now
Message . . . . : User-defined function error on member SYSPROCS.
Cause . . . . . : An error occurred while invoking user-defined function
URLENCODE in library SYSTOOLS. The error occurred while invoking the
associated external program or service program B2RESTUDF: in library
SYSTOOLS.D, program entry point or external name
com.ibm.db2.rest.DB2UDFWrapper.urlEncode, specific name URLENCODE. The error
occurred on member SYSPROCS file SYSPROCS in library QSYS2. The error code
is 1. The error codes and their meanings follow:
1 -- The external program or service program returned SQLSTATE 58004. The
text message returned from the program is: ?? .
2 -- The external program failed before it completed.
Could you please help me in fixing this error?
