Not really sure I understand the problem properly. (Nor am I clear that this belongs here as an RPG IV programming post? Might get more suggestions on MIDRANGE-L if it's not related to a programming problem.)

That said, a little more detail would help identify what you're trying to achieve:
- Is the PDF already being produced, or are you seeking to generate it?
- What is the PDF? (E.G. a business report or a program listing)?
- Is the laser printer connected via the LAN or locally attached to the workstation via USB?
- How is the laser printer configured?
- Are you wishing to print directly from IBM i or via a PC as an intermediary?
- Have you checked out the Printing Redbooks? (They are quite dated but still contain some very useful techniques.)
