Not really sure I understand the problem properly. (Nor am I clear that
this belongs here as an RPG IV programming post? Might get more
suggestions on MIDRANGE-L if it's not related to a programming problem.)
That said, a little more detail would help identify what you're trying
to achieve:
- Is the PDF already being produced, or are you seeking to generate it?
- What is the PDF? (E.G. a business report or a program listing)?
- Is the laser printer connected via the LAN or locally attached to the
workstation via USB?
- How is the laser printer configured?
- Are you wishing to print directly from IBM i or via a PC as an
intermediary?
- Have you checked out the Printing Redbooks? (They are quite dated but
still contain some very useful techniques.)

Hi all,
There must be a way ( by now), a public domain/native method to print
PDF's on a typical laser? I have tried FTP and the qshell quirky command -
I need a command that we can call from a CL easy enough. Is the source
available?
