Re: Open/Close limits in RPG?

General rule of thumb: don’t suppress system error handling unless you
fully implement the error handling yourself.

In the past I’ve seen similar situations where a developer coded a *pssr
subroutine that just seton LR and returned. No logging, no messages, just
exited.

Took forever to figure out why the program wasn’t doing what it was
supposed to do.

wonder what changed? I can research that, i.e. talk to the other
programmer.
