Check the description of the API QRCVDTAQ:

There is an (optional) parameter that defines if you want the message on the
Q to be deleted or not.

It is in the group2. Look for "Remove message".

Works like a charm!

I think there is a setting where you can read a data queue entry without
removing the entry.
