Justin,
The COMPILEOPT parameter allows you to specify options to be "passed through" the SQL preprocessor to whatever compile command you are ultimately invoking, depending on whether you tell CRTRPGSQLI to create a *MODULE or a *PGM ...  (CRTRPGMOD or CRTBNDRPG, respectively).
So, you need to prompt those commands, press F10=Additional parameters, and press F11 to see the keywords, and F9 to ensure you see all of the available options.
A typical use might be (for example):
    CRTRPGSQLI ... COMPILEOPT('DBGVIEW(*LIST)')

Can anyone point me in the direction of the list of allowed COMPILEOPT
values for the CRTSQLRPGI command?  The help says to consult "DB2 for i SQL
programming" on the InfoCenter.  If there's a list there, IBM has it hidden
so well I can't find it.
