Re: sql json_object and boolean

btw, i removed the "format json" from the json_object and it now shows both
variable output wrapped in quotes.

I'm looking for no quotes around the 0 and 1 variable output (which are
indicator)...
but even better, how can I show true or false with no quotes?

When specifying FORMAT JSON it means the value is already JSON, so it will
not add any quotes around.

I have two var's both declared as IND.
dcl-s g_valid ind inz;
dcl-s g_expired ind inz;

In the pgm I'm obviously only assigning *off or *on to them.
In the usage below, g_valid will show as "0"... but g_expired shows as 0
(with no " around it, which is correct)...

,key 'license'
value json_object(key 'valid'
value :g_valid
,key 'expires'
value :g_expDate
,key 'remaining'
value trim(char(:g_expDays))
,key 'expired'
value :g_expired
format json )

any ideas?
