OP, are you using yajl_tree_free() after building and/or parsing your JSON?

If so, you shouldn't have to worry about pointers.

I got it wrong - sorry!!

I thought it was in a debug situation… normally Any kind of reclaiming

Is REALLOC not an option?

Hi,

While debugging a program using YAJL functions, I noticed that the
pointers
to the different JSON objects remain the same between calls.
I also realised I don't know how to "unpoint" the pointer.

For the moment I've compiled the program in a named activation group
and
then ended this with RCLACTGRP

But I still don't know how to reset the pointer!
