There is a compile flag in the “makefile” and it works on 7.1. But be sure
you pull the master and not the UTF8 branch. The later have 7.3 compliant
features.

When you install NOXDB, you download source code from the web, and compile
it on your IBM i system using the provided build script, so it should work
fine on 7.1 ... :-)
