Looks like you have missed out parameter 4 in the first case. There are 6 parts needed if you are specifying content type. I'm guessing you should be using

:*Omit

as the fourth parm.

In the second case the compiler is telling you exactly what is wrong. http_stmf does not return a value (look at its prototype) so the "cure"is to simply remove the "rc =" but of the call.

Hi All,

I am befuddled.

In my pgm I have defined in global:
Dcl-S RequestFile VarChar(500);
Dcl-S ResponseFile VarChar(500);
Dcl-S Rc Int(10);
Dcl-S ShipUrlTest VarChar(500);
Dcl-S CancelUrl VarChar(500);

rc = http_req('POST'
: ShipURLTest
: ResponseFile
: RequestFile
: 'application/json');

Give this error for the RequestFile line:
*RNF7535 30 041200 The type and attributes of parameter 4 do not match those
of the prototype.

In another place in the pgm it has:
rc = http_stmf('PUT'
: CancelURL
: ResponseFile
: RequestFile
: 'application/json');

This is giving a different error:
*RNF5403 30 064300 The prototyped call cannot be used in an expression because
it does not return a value.

These are the only 2 errors in the compile.

What is wrong?
Jerry
