I wonder if only free or all-free RPG counts, or all dialects: Non-Free, and even older. Github attracts not only professional programmers, but also hobbyists. The TK4- MVS on Hercules-390 turnkey-your-own-mainframe even has a RPG I compiler.
So if you happen to have a GitHub account and repo's without any RPG, by all means please add some RPG code to your repo.
Why should anyone invest time and effort to fake come code into a most likely shared-with-other-devs repo, probably confusing the other participants?
Give it some time. Github is still new in the i world, and the OpenSource spirit also takes time to change behavior.
