Folks:
From an RPG program, I use the SBMJOB command to start up some client job
that is to connect to a server. In this command, the JOB keyword allows to
specify the job name, and you may programatically construct that name to
what you need it to be. I have a server side RPG program, that uses the
spawn() API to launch child processes or jobs. But the spawn API names my
server-side jobs with the same name as the program that it spawns.
In this case, is there a way to specify or construct the job name with
which it will run to spawn()?
Thanks!
