The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

From the RPG reference you can specify the message queue:
Yeef! I've been using DSPLY for a quarter century as a way of getting
quick-and-dirty output, and I never noticed that.
If it makes you feel any better, long ago I made a little CLP for
myself called DBGMSG which simply accepts a text parameter and uses
the SNDMSG command to send myself debugging messages that way. I
didn't even discover the DSPLY opcode until much, much later.
And then, even after I found DSPLY, like you I found that the messages
I wanted to go to myself "had to" go to QSYSOPR instead, so I *kept
using my silly CLP*!
I have so much visual and muscle memory built up for it that I still
use it today, rather than DSPLY.
