From the RPG reference you can specify the message queue:

Free-Form Syntax DSPLY{(E)} {message {message-queue {response}}}
Code Factor 1 Factor 2 Result Field Indicators
DSPLY (E) message message-queue response _ ER _

Subject: DSPLY statements in batch jobs?

Normally, of course, a DSPLY statement sends its message to the terminal in an interactive job, and sends it to the system operator in a batch job.

Is there a way to have it go to some other message queue in a batch job?
