You could check out Rapid API. (https://rapidapi.com)

They have some APIs to validate e-mail addresses. Do not think they perform very well.

2 years ago I found a PHP script to do it. Never tried it though.

Yes, I tried the REGEX method. The mycount value is always zero for me.
