Indeed it would be, Alan. But as Scott has suggested, this is only a test case to try and demonstrate, (and get an understanding of) some inconsistencies. (Well, inconsistent in my mind.)

Thx for the suggestions - I have posted a follow up example with the PI coded (or not) which adds to the confusion! I'll look in to PTF possible issues as well.
