My GETURI software will do this quite easily.

www.bvstools.com/geturi.html

It's as easy as this command (APIs and ILE functions also available):

GETURI URI('www.site.com/path/to/file.pdf') OUTPUT(*STMF)
STMF('/myfiles/file.pdf') SPRHEAD(*YES)

The SPRHEAD option says to suppress headers from the output that is created
so your PDF doesn't get corrupted.

Hello,

A client of us puts new product images on a website and then sents the URL
where we can find this image so that we can retrieve the image and print it
on the boxes.

Is there an API or an easy way that we can DOWNLOAD or RETRIEVE those
images
from his website on to our IFS ?

Someting like:

downloadWebImage('www.google.com/image01.jpg', 'myas400/directory');
