They'll all be my favorites when we get to 7.4 - hopefully by year-end. Still on 7.2 <frown>.

I'm assuming the IN opcode is datatype agnostic?

Subject: Upcoming RPG enhancements for 7.3 and 7.4 are announced today

The upcoming RPG enhancements with PTFs for 7.3 and 7.4 were announced
today.

They'll be available soon, timed with the Fall 2020 TRs.

See https://ibm.biz/rpg_cafe#announcement

- Options to allow all-blanks and thousands separators for string
parameters for %DEC, %INT, %FLOAT etc.

- New %RANGE and %LIST built-in functions, and new FOR-EACH opcode

- Optionally require prototypes for exported procedures and for the
cycle-main procedure

- Debug the return value for a procedure

If I had to pick a fave, it would be the FOR-EACH opcode. Wait, no,
%LIST. Wait, no, debugging the return value.
