I have started converting programs that use poi/hssf to write to .xlsx files instead of .xls.
I have one program that writes over 800,000 records.
However when it gets to the ss_save function it appears to hang. Program has sat for hours at this statement.
I'm not getting any errors, nothing in job log.
Maybe it just takes that long to save, but, if so is there anything I can do to speed it up?
Anything I might look at that might be causing this?
