One thing to consider, HTTP API runs in the caller's activation group by
default...

So if you have one program using HTTP API and it calls another that also
uses it, and both run in the same activation group; then for instance when
you return to program A expecting the HTTP API environment to be the same,
it won't be.

The easy fix for that is to run program B in a different activation group.

But you've said you can sign off and back on and the XPO program still
doesn't work...

That really sounds more like a token issue as Brad suggests...

Is the same token & auth shown in the debug log for both the failing XPO
session and the one that succeeds on another session?
