Nope - %Scan was added in V5R1 as part of the change to free-form and removing obsolete op-codes.

A model 150 however would run V5R1 and that would support free-form.

I am not an RPG historian, but I believe that even in V4R5, you had
features such as "extended factor 2" and the %SCAN BIF, so you don't
have to deal with the SCAN opcode and its array output if you don't
want to.
