Can't answer definitely but I would say probably. Anytime you traverse a connection like this there will be a limit somewhere. I have a reverse process - a Sql Server stored procedure sending data to IBM i and I had to limit to 1000 rows at a time. I just setup a loop to send 1000 at a time until complete.
