We have a program where the users need to enter data basically repetitively.
The natural way the 5250 screens go when you press field exit or tab is to
go to the field on the right.

I am using an initialized subfile to display the number of fields to be
entered, example:

1 ________________________ 4 _____________________

2 ________________________ 5 _____________________

3 ________________________ 6 _____________________

So the natural way of entering the data would be field 1,4, 2, 5, 3, 6.

The issue is that users need to be able to enter data in a heads down
fashion.

I am looking at trying to control the sequence using RPG however, I would
prefer to have the subfile display the fields in the sequence entered.

1 ________________________ 2 _____________________

3 ________________________ 4 _____________________

5 ________________________ 6 _____________________

Is there a way to do this in in the subfile setup?

TIA.
