1. Try to replace the definition of the "bytes-provided" and
"bytes-available" fields as type"I" not type "B" and zero decimals.
2. Before calling the API, CLEAR the error code structure.
3. Load the bytes-provided field with the %SIZE (the built-in function) of
that same data structure: bytes_provided = %SIZE(dsEC);
4. Call the API.
