The arrays is not a problem. If i dont dont pass information from p_ toDs
thr fiels dont assume the information send by the caller. The solutionim
looking for , is do not have the information from p_. In the fix theparm
entry is the same DS declare.
But now on program interface cannot use the same name i declare
Then you need to do what Jon told you to do. Put your external
data structure definition into a copybook and add the QUALIFIED keyword.
Include that copybook in both the calling and the called programs. In the
calling program you can pass the name of your data structure. Then, in
the called program, code the following:
DCL-PI *N;
p_er6005ds LIKEDS(er6005ds);
END-PI;
Then the passed parameter will have all the same subfields as the
passed data structure -- except for the number if array dimensions as I
said.
Sincerely,
Dave Clark
