You need to make sure that the prototype/procedure interface
specifies an area long enough to contain all elements of the DS array.
The
best way to do this is to provide the same DIM keyword on the parameter
specification as you did on the DS specification.


LIKE or LIKEDS is not enough. It only copies length and overall
data type -- not the number of dimensions.
