Seems like the SNDUSRMSG is confusing the issue. Take out the SNDUSRMSG
commands and replace it with SNDPGMMSG, something like:
SNDPGMMSG MSG('Program 1 ran succesfully') +
TOPGMQ(*EXT) MSGTYPE(*COMP)

Subject: Re: cl program to call two rpgle programs
Hi,
Thanks indeed program 1 had error that is why it was coming to error part
but problem with below program is that in good scenarios when both
of these programs don't have any error then for example when program 1 ran
successfully then it will show like below:-
'Program 1 ran successfully'
then at command prompt will ask like below
Type reply, press Enter.
Reply . . .
F3=Exit F12=Cancel
If i press enter then same happens with program 2 and once it also runs
successfully i get same screen like 'Program2 Ran successfully'
and then again it asks on command prompt to reply and when i press enter
then only after some time once this second program also runs without any
error then only
it comes to main screen from where i had called this program.
Thanks
PGM
