CGIDEV2 has been available for 20 years now so hopefully nobody is still using a box that won't support it. CGIDEV came out 2 and a bit years earlier.

Right. I just didn't know when CGIDEV2 first became available, and
what it ran on at that time. Maybe AS/400, maybe iSeries? I don't know
the history that well.

But I figured that the existence of CGIDEV2 implied the existence of
CGIDEV, and so if CGIDEV2 is "too new" for AS/400 (which it may or may
not be, I don't know), then maybe CGIDEV is not.
