Well, I would start with removing parts of the sql statement to figure out what part is causing the issue then that will allow you to know which part is not working. I suspect the 'likes' so see if you remove those if you get records then add one back and try it. In cases like this it is usually something simple that isn't obvious.

I have provided the actual sql statement that is constructed. I don't see how the code that does the construction will enlighten you any further. It constructs the sql statement and in RPGLE it fails but in STRSQL it finds the records. Why?
