You are better off using a service program and loading it dynamically.

If you go to www.think400.dk/downloads.htm you will find two projects that
might interest you.

The first is a service program that will dynamically load a service program

The other is a project called a trigger mediator. It lives between the
database and the business logic in service program.

I have a more current version of this if you are interested.

Based on the fact that you are passing the trigger buffer my guess would be
that you are trying to create your own trigger mediator.

Please contact me if you questions.

I'm calling a program like this:

D WHSAUD5R PR EXTPGM('WHSAUD5R')
D Trgbuffer LIKEDS(Trginfo)
D Trgbufferlen 10I 0
d wkProgram 10a
WHSAUD5R(trgBuffer:trgBufferLen:wkProgram);

I want to retrieve the program name WHSAUD5R from a code table instead.
How can I call whatever program I want here? I will always pass the same
parameters.

Thank you.
