I normally use the term **Free for the "no limits" version but I agree the terminology can be confusing.

Similarly I always use the term RPG IV (NOT ILE RPG) when talking about language functionality as opposed to ILE constructs. I fought against using the name ILE RPG but lost that battle.

Yes it was supposed to be calcs. Sometimes I forget to correct the auto-correct !

This is an excellent overview. It's very easy to get confused if
you're coming to this stuff for the first time. Different people on
this mailing list use different levels of freedom in their own code,
and the terminology is kind of loose, so when you hear two people both
talking about "free", they may well be talking about two different
levels. And they're both correct, even though the information they're
presenting doesn't quite match up.

Free form calls - with fixed form definitions and H-specs etc.

Was this supposed to be "calcs" rather than "calls"?
