All,

I am admittedly very rusty with edit codes and edit words, %char() is
usually all I every need.

Just to make sure I'm not missing something...

There doesn't appear to be an edit code that will give me
- left hand negative sign
- lead zero if number less than 1.00

packed(5:2) examples
"-0.95"
"-2.25"
"0.55"
"5.23"

Also, it doesn't appear that EDITW supports a left hand side negative sign?

Lastly, doesn't appear SQL can do it either...

Guess I'll need an alternative for a valid JSON number...

Thanks!
Charles
