I don't know if this email response with get to you or not. Use System I Navigator to set up a share to the IFS folder that contains the file(s) you want to copy to your PC. Then in windows, Map a network drive to the share. You should be able to do a normal copy and paste between the IFS and your PC. Hope that helps. Good Luck.

To/from your desktop, no. IBM i commands do not work there.

You might be able to use the shell commands if you add the your laptop into QNTC, but then that requires some fooling around first too.
