Hi Greg,

Try using the Parser Options.

Example:

data-into(E) dataStructure %DATA(Wrk_Json:Wrk_Opt)
%PARSER('YAJLINTO'
:'{ "document_name": "json", +
"value_true": "1", +
"value_false": "0", +
"value_null": " " }');

It ("value_null": " " ) will replace the NULL value with blanks.

Surender K

I apologize if this question is not appropriate for this mailing list...

I'm using YAJLINTO to load JSON into my data structure... In some of the
elements I'm gathering, the element literally contains "null". Sometimes
it contains "". YAJLINTO converts this to "*NULL" (that ends up in my DS
fields).

Example:
"SellerOrderID": null,
In my DS field SellerOrderID (char(128)) contains *NULL

Since I'm using mostly all character definitions, I was wondering how to
handle this.

Is there option with YAJLINTO to convert "null" to blank instead of
"*NULL", or do I need to look for "*NULL" in each field before loading the
data into my database files?

How is this normally handled?

Thx,
Greg
