Can you show us your code so we can see how you are using it?
The alias keyword has been around for quite some time so probably not a PTF issue.

Subject: Reg: ALIAS Keyword in Physical File

Hello Everyone,

Currently i am trying to use ALIAS Keyword in Physical File for using a longer field names. But when i am compiling the PF, i am getting error as "Keyword not valid for this file type".

Do i need to install any PTF's for supporting ALIAS name in Physical File?
Currently i am using V7R3M0 Version.
