You can use SQL to write as well as read, you know.

Less type-checking is a double-edged sword. You trade some safety in
exchange for some convenience. Some people would of course never make
the trade, but it's worth it for others. A whole slew of dynamic
languages exist precisely because some people are happy to make that
trade.
