You can do mouse checkboxes on 5250, I've done it before. Use the PSHBTN* keywords in your DSPF and you'll have to use the AID control character in RPG to determine what button was clicked. It's been awhile, but I know it can be done.

A subfile row with several Both fields, where one is a Status and can only be active or not-active.? It's an ideal spot for a mouse-friendly checkbox.? Is it possible?
