I changed the CCSID per the instructions below and still no joy.

I'm waiting to hear back from our System guys to see where we stand with PTFs and calling IBM to report a problem.

I don't recall seeing an answer to this, but have you checked the CCSID of the tiff image in the IFS to make sure it's the same CCSID as the job? If the tiff image is using a different CCSID than the job it would not be able to read and interpret the image correctly.


From the IBM Knowledge Center article for AFPRSC:
When you provide the resource-name, path-to-use, external-name, or secondary-resource-path as a literal value, the operating system assumes that it is specified in the coded character set identifier (CCSID) of the DDS source physical file. When you provide the resource-name, path-to-use, external-name, or secondary-resource-path as a program-to-system field, the operating system assumes that it is specified in the default job CCSID.
