I'm trying to install Ghostscript .. i found this Scott's link ("http://www.scottklement.com/archives/ftpapi/200903/msg00083.html"; ), but the link for downloading Ghostscript is not good http://computer-refuge.org/classiccmp/aixpdslib/pub/ghostscript/RISC/5.3/exec/
Can some one suggest me a link for download Ghostscript ?
Thanks in advance
I found this link https://sourceforge.net/projects/ghostscript/files/GPL%20Ghostscript/8.54-gpl/, but when i run "tar -xf ghostscript-8.54.tar.gz" command i receive error "tar: 0511-169 Directory checksum error on the media; 0 not equal to 68222."

You probably also need ghostscript - that is the "gs" you see in the
error - we use that, too - I installed the version from perzl, I don't
know if the new open source feature has it.

+1 on imageMagick - we use the version Scott bundled, it still does just
fine.

I don't think it is available yet in the open source YUM process, but I
don't have authority to use that, so I can't say for sure

And I don't have time to work on making a current version work!!

I don't have a specific example lying around, but imagemagick is a tool

Once you have it working, you should be able to just run "magick convert
myfile.pdf myfile.jpg" in PASE.

Scott Klement has instructions on his site for installing imagemagick
on IBM i, but that is for a very old version. You may need to experiment a
little to get a newer version working. There are likely more dependencies
than the old version. However, your use case is simple enough that the
older version may work well enough to play around with it. I still
recommend getting to the current version before going to production though.
