There was a recent post in the past 2 - 3 weeks regarding this very issue.

Subject: Debugger starts very slow on 7.3

Hi,

Two weeks ago we got a new P20 with 7.3 installed. On that machine starting
the debugger always takes roughly 15 seconds! Starting the debugger for the
same program on our production P10 takes 10 seconds for the first time and a
blink of an eye for the second and following times.

Any ideas, why it always takes so long (15+ secs) to start the debugger on
7.3?

Regards,

Thomas.
