Thanks Barbara! That's helpful. We have not thought to vary off/on the
display device, since the user continues working on other applications
after getting this error. In terms of recovering from the error, I've
passed on the suggestion to close and reopen the display file when the
error occurs.

"Description: An error that is not recoverable has occurred on the
display device.

Action: Your display devices may need to be varied off and then on
again. Your program can either:
- Continue processing without the display station.
- Close the device file and open the file again.
- End."
