You could open an RFE. My thought would be that there's no chance of IBM doing it, but it can't hurt to ask.
You can turn off the warnings in SEU, if that helps.

Subject: SEU support for Free format in the F and D specs
Is there anyway that IBM could be convinced to update SEU to provide support for the H, F, & D specs in SEU?
To be honest it has been such a long time since I did any output using the "O" specs I do not know if SEU supports free format on that spec.
Okay is there any other specs I missed?
Would in my opinion allow the people who are wanting to hang around on the "whatever the heck the system is called today" to be here. My CHINESE crew folks get FREEKED out by the fact that SEU gives them warnings. I keep explaining to just code the F and D specs per the PDF I sent from John Paris. Say N on the return to editing. Compile and see if you did it correctly.
The Chinese then ask who Jon Paris is? At least the Indians know about Jon and Susan? Do they have any children together? If so the only kids that got baby AS400's for Christmas presents.
Thomas - at the place that will not buy RDI or whatever it is called.
