Hi
I have added some RPG code to the SNIPPETS in the Wiki  that allows generic updates to any file.  UDDS File Display/Update
https://wiki.midrange.com/index.php/UDDS_File_Display/Update.
It is an old utility I wrote over 30 yrs ago on a S/38, I converted it to Free form and to handle float data.
I am making the code public sort of like my last thing before I drift off into the sunset.
SQL does a better job showing file data, the only thing my utility does extra, and this is only incidental, is show file relations.
I cant get a programmer job on i5 anymore, I have tried, guess cause I an over 65.
I have added this disclaimer to the page.
Use the code below at your own risk, no warranty is expressed or implied or even that the code is functional.

However I no longer have access to an AS400 so I cannot compile or check the code I added.
I know I had it working about 4 years ago.
Have you any suggestions how I can check the code please?

I suppose the next question is better on the midrange list.
I can pay S$50.00 AUS / month for access to an i5/AS400 pgmr access to 'my library' under a profile that has access to only 'my library' and the compilers and dfu.
I need a source file in 'my library'.
That way I can check the code is functional.  I dont need SEU or Rdi . I would use RPGNG for the source file access, my preferred editor is Notepad++.

Thanks and have a great day.
Frank Kolmann.
