I asked. We are using the most ancient emulator that exists on the planet.

When I try to put in more than one option for DEBUG I get this.

*RNF1002 20 a 000200 The parameter for keyword DEBUG is not valid.

But having just *Yes works.

You should have seen the response when I told people about the fact that H, F, & D specs could be free format. Another time I was told not to code free format - this was NINE years ago - as the other programmers that might have to support the code would not be able to understand it. Hey we have programs in RPG-III.

Personally I never have actually programmed in RPG-III. And I started RPG-IV in 2002.

Not being rude but most of the people I have met who say this have not even asked to use the new tools. There are free/cheap alternatives too.

If there is pushback ask if the Windows developers are forced to use Notepad for .Net development?

Should not be using SEU at this late date. It does not know the free-format syntaxes. This is an example of the "H"-type specs you might need.
